Starbucks Coffee Co.’s new concept, Evolution Fresh, has opened its second store in downtown Seattle. The concept offers handcrafted juices, bottled juices and a variety of globally inspired food items.
The first flagship location opened four months ago in Bellevue, Wash., and additional stores are planned in Seattle and San Francisco this fall. Seattle-based Starbucks acquired the juice chain in 2011.
"We have received a very positive response from the first Evolution Fresh retail store opening just a few months ago, and we are excited to open our second store in the Seattle area," says Arthur Rubinfeld, president, global development and Evolution Fresh retail. "Evolution Fresh provides convenient accessibility for our customers to enjoy flavorful, cold-pressed juices and natural foods, and we are pleased to bring these offerings to downtown Seattle."
The retailer has also added Evolution Fresh ready-to-drink juices in select premium grocery and natural food stores across the West Coast, as well as at select Starbucks retail locations.
