Starbucks Corp. (Seattle) opened a new three-story cafe in Bogota, Colombia, yesterday, and the company hopes to replicate the model with flagship stores throughout the world, Bloomberg reported.

The 2700-square-foot store features a heated patio, concrete columns, mirrors on the ceiling, and walls of colorful plants, and makes use of locally sourced wood and antique- and hammered-brass light fixtures.

“We are in a position to open the kind of stores that are similar to what Apple and Niketown have been able to do,” ceo Howard Schultz told Bloomberg. There’s a new flagship location being planned for the U.S., Schultz said, while declining to say where.
