Strouds Names New CEO

Strouds, Inc. (City of Industry, Calif.), which had announced in September an interim president and ceo to help it restructure under Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection, has filled that spot with the appointment of Thomas S. Paccioretti. Paccioretti is a Certified Turnaround Professional (CTP), actively involved in the direction and operation of Strouds since the company's bankruptcy declaration on September 7. JohnP. Brincko, who had been holding the office, will continue as a financial advisor to Strouds through his international management consulting firm, Brincko Associates, Inc. The new ceo is a senior vp of Brincko Associates.

Strouds, the Linen Experts, is a specialty retailer of bed, bath, tabletop and other home textile products, currently operating 70 stores in five states.
