John Watson leaves to pursue other interests

Three years after joining Sunglass Hut International Inc., President and CEO John Watson tendered his resignation. A former marketing executive at Reebok, Watson was hired to bring the Coral Gables, Fla., eyewear retailer back from financial distress. Although Sunglass has bounced back, holiday sales were down.

James Hauslein, the chair and ceo before Watson‰Ûªs arrival, will take over as ceo. Greg Milne was named president and coo.
