Surmesur Expands Beyond Canada

Custom menswear retailer Surmesur (Quebec City) is opening a store in Chicago, its second store outside Canada. The first U.S. store opened in Pittsburgh.

At Surmesur locations, customers can select fabrics as well as collars, cuffs and buttons before being measured and fitted into custom garments, reports Chain Store Age.

“We've had Chicago in our sights for a long time,” said François Thériault, Surmesur co-founder. Surmesur currently has eight locations.
