Columbus, Ohio-based design firm Fitch hired Ann Rogers to manage its media and marketing outreach for North America. Rogers’ career includes working at Fitch about a decade ago, as well as posts at design firms Chute Gerdeman and WD Partners.
Consumer environments manufacturer idX Corp. (St. Louis) named Mark Fletcher as director of European operations at its new London office. Fletcher has experience in retail store development, construction and project management throughout Europe. Denis Wilhelm, currently vp of operations at idX St. Louis, will join him in the London office for one year.
Lighting manufacturer Hera Lighting (Norcross, Ga.) selected Anthony Montagano as its national sales manager for Canada. Montagano brings more than 20 years of sales experience, with his most recent position at Sysco Quebec.
Mukilteo, Wash.-based Dillon Works! Inc., a turnkey custom design and fabrication company, named Alicia Hanson as director of design. Hanson’s 17-year career includes experience as an environmental graphic designer, production manager, design director and business owner.

New York-based Sustainable NYC – part general store, part boutique, part café – has been named winner of the Green America People's Choice Award for Best Green Business. The store displays vendor offerings on used fixtures and antiques; recycles its waste; buys wind power and carbon offsets; and posts ads on Craigslist for free moving boxes to reuse the daily accumulation of shipping materials.
West Caldwell, N.J.-based MaxLite’s full cutoff LED Wall Packs in 20 to 70 watts have been approved by the DesignLights Consortium (DLC) and are now included in its Qualified Products List (QPL).
