Exclusive fashions inspired by Disney Channel characters
Target (Minneapolis) has joined with the Disney Channel (Burbank, Calif.) on a new fashion line of apparel and accessories called “D-Signed,” available only at Target stores and online. The line launches August 1st and will feature attire that can be mixed and matched for tween girls in sizes 4 to 16. Unlike other entertainment-inspired lines, D-Signed will not portray the characters likeness but will be inspired by characters’ look and personality.
"Tween girls want fashionable clothes that express their individuality and style but that moms approve of,” says Pam Lifford, executive vp, global fashion and home, DCP. “Our D-Signed collection at Target brings it all together in a way that allows young girls to express their fashion sense with quality clothing at budget friendly prices.”
The first installment of D-Signed is inspired by the personal style of the Sonny Munroe character from Disney Channel’s television series “Sonny With A Chance.”
Minneapolis-based Target Corp. operates 1740 stores in 49 states nationwide.
