John Douglas will be new chief technology officer

Tory Burch (New York) has named John Douglas as its new chief technology officer.

Douglas’s previous post was MCM Fashion Group’s chief information officer and before that, he was chief technology officer at Burberry, according to Women’s Wear Daily.

“John is recognized across industries as a leader in deploying pioneering digital strategies for global fashion and consumer brands, moving brands forward through innovation,” said Roger Farah, Tory Burch’s co-ceo.

There are 180 Tory Burch locations across the country and the brand is sold in 3,000 department and specialty stores as well as online.
