STORE OPENINGS
True Religion Apparel Inc. (Vernon, Calif.) has opened a new branded retail store at The Mall at Green Hills in Nashville, Tenn. The 1500-square-foot store includes the entire True Religion collection for men, women and kids.
Golfsmith Intl. Holdings Inc. (Austin, Texas) announced plans to open four new stores in 2010 and retrofit several additional stores. The first store to be redesigned this year is Golfsmith’s Downer’s Grove location in Chicago.
Online retailer Jane’s Closet (Brooklyn, N.Y.) will open a boutique in the fashion district of the Williamsburg neighborhood in Brooklyn.
Rosetta Stone Inc. (Arlington, Va.), a provider of technology-based language-learning solutions, has opened an experience store at 2 Times Square in New York.

Marlite (Dover, Ohio) has been named the exclusive North American distributor of Solid Veneer Lumber (S|V|L), an engineered wood product for retail and commercial interiors by Woodtrade F. Hecht GmbH of Germany.
Kohl’s Department Stores (Menomonee Falls, Wis.) announced that the company has purchased enough green power to meet 100 percent of its purchased electricity use with an annual green power purchase of nearly 1.4 billion kilowatt-hours (kWh). With this latest purchase of renewable energy, Kohl’s increased its ranking to No. 2 overall and among Fortune 500 companies on the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s listings of top green power purchasers.
Access Display Group, Inc. (Freeport, N.Y.), a designer, manufacturer and distributor of changeable poster displays and other signage display fixtures, has completed its first e-commerce website: Displays4Sale.com.
