Berndt Hauptkorn is former head of Swiss luxury brand Bally

Fast Retailing Co. Ltd. (Tokyo) has named Berndt Hauptkorn ceo of Uniqlo Europe, a newly created role.
Hauptkorn, who will divide his time between London and Paris, will report to both Nobuo Domae, executive vp and Fast Retailing senior group officer, and to Fast Retailing ceo Tadashi Yanai, reports Women’s Wear Daily.
