MANAGEMENT CHANGES
Materials manufacturer Wilsonart Intl. (Temple, Texas) named Kristen Manos as president. She was previously executive vp and president of Herman Miller North American Office Environments.
Lighting manufacturer MaxLite (West Caldwell, N.J.) appointed Pat Treadway director of product marketing and James Steedly director of product R&D and engineering.
Nazdar SourceOne (Shawnee, Kan.) hired Glenn Shull as a product manager for digital equipment and Mary Strafuss as a product manager for graphic inks. In his role, Shull will be responsible for conducting market analyses to identify product and market opportunities for digital equipment. Strafuss will be responsible for developing and managing the extensive portfolio of Nazdar screen inks and the line of Lyson digital ink products.

San Francisco-based Gap Inc. plans to open more than 30 stores in 10 major Chinese cities by year end, reports San Francisco Business Times.
United Supermarkets announced a strategic relationship with Red Mango, the popular frozen yogurt and smoothies chain, to test a store-in-store concept at its grocery stores. The first Red Mango counter is slated to open in late February at a store in Abilene, Texas. The concept will be operated by Lubbock, Texas–based Beach Ventures LLC.
Barix (Zurich, Switzerland) is providing IP audio decoding solutions to RFC Media for the private-label, retail radio network for Spec’s Wines, Spirits and Finer Foods. Spec’s operates nearly 90 locations across Texas.
Retail consulting, branding and design companies, King-Casey (Westport, Conn.), RJS/Barber Associates and Global Consulting Services (GCS) have merged to form King-Casey-Arabia. The new company will focus on serving clients in the Pan Arab World and will have its company headquarters in Riyadh.
