Versace (Milan) has opened a new accessories flagship in Milan’s luxury shopping arcade Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II.

Sources say the brand invested $2.6 million in the store on top of the $19.4 million the company spent to secure the location, according to Women’s Wear Daily.

Versace is also sponsoring half of the $3.8 million renovation work in the Galleria, along with Prada and Feltrinelli. The work is expected to be completed in time for the city’s international Expo beginning in May.
