Hudson Group (East Rutherford, N.J.) has opened a Victoria's Secret travel concept store in New York's JFK International Airport Terminal 4. The 641-square-foot shop is the lingerie retailer’s first travel concept store at an airport in the U.S. and features merchandise specifically targeted to the traveling consumer, such as panties, an assortment of PINK apparel, and travel accessories, including passport holders, luggage tags, sunglasses, key rings and travel-size gifts. Makeup, fragrance and body care products from Victoria's Secret's best selling lines are also available.

"Victoria's Secret adds an exciting edge to our retail lineup,” says Janice Holden, chief commercial officer, JFK IAT. “The super look and feel of the store is inviting and the well known merchandise never fails to appeal. We are encouraged by the reaction of our passengers based on the store's initial performance."

Victoria's Secret, part of Limited Brands (Columbus, Ohio), launched its first duty-free airport location in Brazil, followed by a second location in Argentina. The JFK Terminal 4 store is the third in the series and the first duty-paid entry. Three additional stores are planned this year, including one in Dubai and two in Barbados and Mexico City International Airport.

Hudson Group is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Dufry AG (Basel, Switzerland), operating more than 500 newsstands, bookstores, cafes and premier specialty retail shops in 70 airports and transportation terminals in the U.S. and Canada. Together, Dufry and Hudson oversee over 1000 stores in 41 countries and 137 airports and terminals.
