MANAGEMENT CHANGES

Architectural firm MulvannyG2 (Bellevue, Wash.) promoted Brian Fleener to vp of retail stores development. In this position, Fleener will lead the development of the firm’s retail stores market sector and design strategy.

Supervalu Inc. (Eden Prairie, Minn.) hired Santiago Roces as ceo and president of its Save-A-Lot division. He most recently served as senior vp and general manger of Walmart’s small format division.

Digital graphics provider Coloredge New York * Los Angeles named Davide Marchionni creative director of retouching. Marchionni has 10 years of experience in high-profile photo retouching and is a graduate of The Academy of Fine Arts of Brera in Milan.

Fixture manufacturer Stylmark Inc. (Minneapolis) promoted Kevin Hogan to president and Kevin Brown to executive vp. They will both serve on the company’s board of directors.

Victoria’s Secret (Columbus, Ohio) has started construction on a multimillion-dollar renovation of its Miracle Mile Shops at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino. The 7722 square-foot renovation will serve as a prototype for Victoria’s Secret, featuring various design elements not found at any of its other Las Vegas locations. The intimate apparel chain is one of nine merchants, including Lucky Brand Jeans and bebe, that is upgrading its existing location this year.

Legends Outlets Kansas City (Kansas City, Kan.) is expanding its store offerings to create a more upscale shopping environment. The retail center expects to welcome a Chico’s Outlet, LOFT Outlet and Christopher & Banks/CJ Banks Outlet this summer.

BUSINESS BRIEFS

Rhonda Ross has created RJRoss Consulting (Roswell, Ga.) to help manufacturers develop sustainability programs. Ross previously worked for flooring manufacturer Centiva (Florence, Ala.). She became a USGBC’s LEED AP in 2003 and has recently added the Sustainable Furnishings Council’s Green AP certification.

CBX’s Retail Division (strategic branding and retail design consultancy firm, New York) has been retained by convenience store operator Cadena Comercial OXXO (Monterrey, Mexico) to assist with the expansion of its foodservice offer. OXXO operates more than 8400 c-stores across Mexico and Latin America.

Red Chariot (Minneapolis) added lighting solutions provider Hera Lighting (Atlanta) to its Retail Collaborative, a group of industry leaders made available to Red Chariot clients to help create solutions for retail challenges.
