Boston Retail Products Inc. (Medford, Mass.) has hired Karen Fiorentino as the regional sales manager for the northeast.

Fitch has hired Craig Kavicky as director, business development, North America Fitch.

W2 Architectural Lighting has appointed Timothy Vislay to Western regional sales manager.

WD Partners (Dublin, Ohio) will open the doors to its new offices in San Francisco’s Financial District on November 1. Bob Welty, executive director, design and brand, will lead the new San Francisco office, located at 620 Davis Street. The firm operates an architecture and engineering office in Irvine, Calif.

Gemini Inc. (Decorah, Iowa) received OSHA’s Safety and Health Recognition Program (SHARP) Award for its manufacturing facilities in Decorah, Iowa.

Tri-North Builders (Madison, Wis., a nationwide general contractor and construction management company) received honorable mention for the 2010 Wisconsin Better Business Bureau's Torch Award for Business Ethics and Integrity.
