Westin Renovation Includes New Kitchen Concept

Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide Inc. (Stamford, Conn.) is partnering with hospitality and nightlife company Gerber Group (New York) to introduce a new bar and kitchen concept called The LCL: Bar & Kitchen, at The Westin New York Grand Central. The project is part of a $65 million renovation and re-flagging of the former New York Helmsley Hotel.

Designed by Stephanie Goto Design Group (New York), the 2600-square-foot venue will incorporate rich fabrics, natural woods and soft lighting elements. The space will extend to 42nd Street, transforming the entire façade of the building.

The LCL: Bar & Kitchen will offer an extensive selection of local small-batch spirits, regionally brewed craft beers and organic, sustainable and biodynamic wines, and a seasonal menu.
