The Wet Seal Gains New Merchandising Officer

The Wet Seal Inc. (Foothill Ranch, Calif.) has announced Christine Lee as its new executive vp and chief merchandising officer. Lee will begin working in her new position Sept. 3.

She had previously served as senior vp and general merchandise manager, women’s apparel, accessories and design for Pacific Sunwear of California Inc. (Anaheim, Calif.) since 2010. Prior to Pacific Sunwear, Lee held various positions at Urban Outfitters during her tenure of 18 years, including general merchandise manager, women’s apparel and accessories and urban renewal and design.
