ZON Retail Environments wins an SGIA Golden Image Award

ZON Retail Environments received a lot of great exposure for its color management capabilities at the 2016 SGIA Expo in Las Vegas. That exposure including winning GOLD for one of ZON Retail's submission in the Golden Image Competition.

Bruce Compton, graphics chief for ZON Retail Environment, attended the show with CEO Tim Johnson. Both were impressed with the capabilities on display. The materials, methods, and expertise available are really quite astonishing, proving that SGIA Expo really is one of the places to touch the pulse of specialty printing and imaging technology.

GOLDEN IMAGE AWARD

ZON Retail Environments took home GOLD in the Golden Image Competition for our industry-leading Double Sided Fabric Banners.

Entered in the Retail/POP Displays/Exhibits category for digital prints, ZON Retail successfully topped well-established industry veterans with a long history of excellent work.

According to Johnny Shell, Vice President of Technical Services for SGIA:

“Several judges said this was one of the toughest competitions they've judged so you should be proud of this extraordinary accomplishment!“

PRODUCT OF THE YEAR

In addition to its own accolades, ZON Retail Environments also helped Top Value Fabrics win two Product of the Year awards.

In the words of Karen Stuerenberg, Marketing Director for Top Value:

“We won SGIA’s Product of the Year Award for Textile Banner for our Supernova, and the Product of the Year Award for Textiles in Framing Systems for our Impact Prime. We’re so proud to win in both categories we entered. For both entries, we sent the required display boards, along with the gorgeous lightboxes ZON produced to go above and beyond. When I spoke with Bruce he was thrilled with how the printing turned out, so I knew our entries would be incredibly tough to beat.”
