The Retail Design Associate Manager’s primary role is to assist Global Retail Development in the execution of mono brand retail stores and Rockport wholesale shops. This includes the development of fixture plans along with providing specifications to markets on all fixtures and finishes to be used. In addition, the Retail Design Associate Manager will assist Global Retail Development in the construction of domestic mono brand concept stores.
Key Accountabilities:
-Develop preliminary fixture plans for all concept stores and shop formats through 3rd parties as well as by him/herself.
-Maintain data base for all store planning globally.
-Assist Global Retail Development Manager with global fixture program by checking stock position and reviewing forecasts.
-Coordination with specific markets on fixture deliveries and maintenance topics.-Assist U.S retail team by coordinating all supplied components and maintenance topics (requisition writing through delivery).

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
-Working knowledge of architectural plans/construction documents
-Excellent verbal / written communication skills with emphasis on follow up
Ability to multi task in a fast-paced environment
-Basic understanding of design principles including color, material usage, lighting
Technical/Professional Skills, Expertise and Qualifications:
College Degree required and -Auto-CAD drawing experience is mandatory
College degree with architecture or construction management major,
extensive AutoCAnowledge with emphasis on 3D, modeling/advanced rendering preferred.
