Our Store Design group is working on several very exciting initiatives. In addition to the opening of 175+ stores anticipated in 2012, we are also working on a new store design concept for multiple brands. To support our significant growth and expansion, we have several new and exciting career opportunities in this area at the Designer and Manager levels. POSITION OBJECTIVE:
The Concept Designer, is responsible for designing and developing brand specific elements from inception to completion. Partners with brand design managers and Director to originate and develop store fixtures for all brands. Designs and implements new design concepts as required.

FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Generate multiple designs under the direction of Design Director.
2. Ability to work with and understand different brands.
3. Gather market data on trends and materials.
4. Create inspiration boards.
5. Ability to create, understand and translate three dimensional concepts into drawings.
6. Design fixtures and prototype concepts to meet approved design budget and deadlines.
7. Work with vendors to communicate design ideas.
8. Develop and present storefront and interior renderings, presentation drawings, material and finish boards for presentations.
9. Performs administrative functions based on project needs.

QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Bachelors Degree in Interior Design, Architecture or Industrial Design from an FIDR approved institution or equivalent working experience
2. Minimum 3 years work experience in design; retail experience preferred
3. Architectural drafting skills and space planning skills preferred
4. Strong AutoCAD, Photoshop, Sketch Up or other 3D rendering skills required
5. Passion for furniture and interior design
6. Ability to multi-task on multiple projects while adhering to deadlines
7. Must be a strong team player
8. Strong verbal and visual communication skills
9. Portfolio required
