Pacific Gateway Concessions (PGC) is one of the largest concession retailers located in South San Francisco near San Francisco International Airport, CA with 35 stores nationwide. Our new and continual growth into other airports such as George Bush Intercontinental Airport, Houston, TX, John F. Kennedy International Airport, Terminal Four, NY, and Sacramento International Airport, CA has created the need to hire an experienced Project/Design Manager/Architect to support our current and future growth initiatives.

This position works under the direct supervision of the Executive Vice President and interacts frequently with other internal departments and external vendors.

JOB SUMMARY:

JOB DUTIES:

o Design
 Thorough understanding and cost management of design phase and implementation following contract award.
 Negotiating and managing of design budget per pro-forma capital expenditure
 Production of basic designs from rendering phase to full working drawings
 Third party proposal and contract negotiations within budgeted guidelines
o Project management
 Develop PGC Design guidelines/standards
 On Time, on Target and On Budget management
 Manage process and project to PGC guidelines
 Managing the build out process from lease signing through completion of punch list items
 Client management pre/during and post project completion
 Owner/tenant/landlord coordination
 Existing conditions surveys
 Space planning
 AutoCAD drafting
 Construction and contractual document preparation
 Consultant/Third Party coordination as needed
 Plan checking,
 Permit submittals
 Construction Administration
 Submittal reviews

WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

 Proficient in computer programs (word, excel, CAD, PowerPoint, etc.)
 Superior organization and time management
 Ability to meet deadlines
 Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
 Minimum 10 years of experience in retail, essential and restaurant and airports preferable
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:
 Bachelor Degree or Masters in Architecture or related field required.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
 Be able to sit and type for extended periods of time at a workstation
 Required to travel to cities/airports and operations located throughout the US that PGC currently operates at or may be seeking to operate at.
