Feminine materials and an architecturally driven design mark the new Coach flagship in Tokyo. The exterior wall is replaced by glass, exposing a second layer of massive structural columns and floor slabs, and a third layer of vertical wood slats through which customers enter and exit. A materials palette of bleached walnut, limestone, white lacquer and glass keeps things light.
