Nordstrom (Seattle) will soon open two additional Nordstrom Local service hubs in California. Slated to open June 4 is a 1190-square-foot Nordstrom Local at the One Paseo complex in San Diego and set to debut on June 18 is a similarly sized version of the brand in Danville, which is about 30 miles east of San Francisco.

“Northern and Southern California represent two of our most significant markets, and these new locations reflect our continued focus on evolving alongside our customers,” said Fanya Chandler, President of Nordstrom stores. “By extending our presence closer to where our customers live and work, we believe Nordstrom Locals will offer greater convenience, broader access to what they need, and a more personalized experience.”

The Local hubs provide online order pickups, take returns, make alterations and accept donated used clothing and shoes for distribution to local nonprofits.

Nordstrom launched the Local concept in 2017, and the hubs opening in June will give it six locations in California, joining those in Brentwood, Newport Beach, Manhattan Beach and Fillmore. There are also three Locals in the New York market, in Brooklyn, Upper East Side and West Village.
