The TFD Hong Kong K11 MUSEA store located in Hong Kong and designed by Leaping Creative (Guangzhou, China) has a look and feel reminiscent of industrial relics, inspired by the design team’s trip to a recycling facility.

The team posits in a company release: “All materials [were] dismantled, crushed and compressed into other shapes … How would these materials present themselves should a future world exist in which industrial remains are everywhere?”

In just 1076 square feet, the firm created large installations from scraps and parts derived from the recycling facility that could not be reused for industrial production, creating a dystopic futuristic landscape, ideal for capturing every shopper’s attention.
