Torrid Plans for 25 New Stores Each Year

Torrid (City of Industry, Calif.) announced plans to open 25 new locations each year for the foreseeable future, according to a press release. This announcement comes after the company saw a 34 percent increase of net sales at the end of the second quarter as compared to last year. Torrid specializes in curvy women’s clothing, sizes 10-30, with a wide range of styles and functions.

Torrid CEO Liz Muono says, “Looking ahead, we see meaningful opportunity to deliver profitable sustainable long-term growth as we continue to drive our Curve business, further deepen customer engagement and expand brand awareness across channels.”
