The Maze, an alcohol-free members-only club, opened recently in New York’s Flatiron District at 43 West 24th St.

Designed by opa Architecture and Laube Studio, the 4,600-square-foot club includes dining, a coffee bar, lounges and an event space. The Maze was founded by Justin Gurland, an entrepreneur and Licensed Social Worker who is 17 years sober. Gurland opened the Maze as a space for nightlife without alcohol.

“Seventeen years ago, when I first got sober, I dreamed of a place like this – a space to connect with friends, colleagues, and community without alcohol at the center,” Justin Gurland, Founder and CEO, said in a press release. “Opening The Maze is the realization of that vision, and my hope is that it becomes a home where everyone feels welcome while helping reimagine how people gather in New York and beyond.”
