Amazon Opens Pop-Up Shops

Amazon (Seattle) has opened 21 pop-up electronics stores throughout the country, as the company prepares for the upcoming holiday shopping season. The stores sell a variety of electronics devices including Echo, Fire TV, Dash Button and Kindle e-readers, as well as services like Amazon Prime and Amazon Original Series.

Last year, the company opened six pop-up stores, and by the end of this year, it may be operating up to 30 pop-up stores, reports The Dallas Morning News. While information is not yet available for any additional locations, so far the pop-up stores are spread throughout 12 states.

These are in addition to the two bricks-and-mortar bookstores that Amazon has opened.
