Following last week’s news that Apple is increasing some employee benefits, the Cupertino, Calif.-based retailer is now planning to give raises up to 10 percent to some retail employees, reports Bloomberg and Business Insider.

Raise increases ranging from 2 percent to 10 percent went to some senior hourly workers, salespeople and Genius Bar technical support staff, according to Bloomberg. Reportedly the decision as to who got increases was in part decided by how long an employee had worked at the company.

Last week, Apple said it would increase some vacation and paid-time-off benefits for both part-time and full-time employees. Back in September 2021, the company also gave one-time bonuses to both employees hired before March 31, 2021, and those hired after; they received $1000 and $500 respectively.
