Apple (Cupertino, Calif.) announced its plans to expand some benefits for its U.S. retail workers, reports CNBC, including an increase in paid sick days for full-time retail workers and the potential to earn more vacation days for both part-time and full-time employees, among other perks, like discounted emergency childcare and paid parental leave.

With an ongoing tight labor market in the U.S., Apple is making adjustments in order to cater to and retain hourly workers. Many other retailers have made similar moves in recent months, like raising wages. There were 4.6 million more job openings than there were unemployed persons in December according to The Labor Department.

Currently, Apple operates 270 locations across the U.S.
