Jeff Evans Named President and Chief Merchandising Officer

At Home (Plano, Texas) has appointed retail industry veteran Jeff Evans President and Chief Merchandising Officer. Evans was previously Executive VP, Entertainment, Toys and Seasonal for Walmart US, where he managed the retailer’s largest omnichannel general merchandise business in excess of $37 billion.

Evans will assume his new post June 19.

He is a collaborative leader that has delivered consistent results by building high performing teams, being customer and data focused and driving digital transformation.”

Evans is a senior merchandising leader that brings 32 years of knowledge in managing businesses across different retail formats including department stores, warehouse clubs and mass retailers. He has deep experience in e-commerce, building brands, product development, sourcing and identifying business opportunities.

“At Home is uniquely situated to continue to grow by delivering incredible customer value in the home décor space,” said Evans. “I am very excited to join Lee and the At Home team to help drive the business strategy and participate in fueling future growth by identifying and maximizing opportunities to deliver results.”

At Home, which calls itself “The Home and Holiday Superstore,” offers up to 45,000 home products in its locales. It currently operates 263 stores in 40 states.
