Outdoors retailer to open new store in Texas, unveils plans for another in NY

Bass Pro Shops (Springfield, Mo.) announced it will soon take the wraps off its newest store, in Odessa, Texas. Opening Oct. 29, the retailer’s 100,000-square-foot locale on Highway 191 will be its 18th in the Lone Star state.

In addition, Bass Pro Shops has unveiled plans for its fifth locale in New York state, in late 2026. Located in the Eastview Mall in Victor, the 90,000 square-foot store will serve the greater Rochester market, including the Finger Lakes region.

Founded in 1972, the outdoor retailer has grown to almost 200 retail locations throughout North America.
