To kick off the holiday shopping season during its 150th year in business, Bloomingdale’s will unveil its “Best Holiday Ever” window display at its New York flagship at Lexington Avenue and 59th Street on Nov. 17.

Each window will feature “a variety of magical elements, from larger-than-life wrapping paper, scissors, and champagne glasses to a toy workshop, a three-dimensional camera feeding images of holiday cards and more,” the upscale department store says in a news release.

The unveiling celebration will begin at 6:30 p.m. with a performance by Billy Porter, the Emmy, Grammy and two-time Tony Award winner. The event is open to the public and will also be live streamed on Bloomingdales.com.

Founded in 1872 and now operating as a division of Macy’s Inc., Bloomingdale’s operates 34 stores under its flagship name, 20 Bloomingdale’s The Outlet stores and one Bloomie’s in the U.S. The retailer also has locations in Dubai and Kuwait.
