bMobile, a Caribbean telecommunications brand, is one of the most popular mobile service companies across the islands. Its acid-green logo and edgy advertising have been endorsed by Caribbean and international celebrities like soccer star Dwight Yorke and R&B singer Rihanna. A current ad campaign shows a woman pulling up her top with the bMobile logo tattooed on her lower back.
For its newest retail location in the British Virgin Islands, Bloom Interior Architecture (Miami) sought a store environment that would maintain bMobile’s vibrant image and continue to portray the brand as a market leader.
The layout is clean and open. Blonde wood flooring and ecru walls are set against jolts of orange, purple, blue and bMobile’s signature green on fixtures, furniture and signage. To appeal to specific needs of every customer, the design team implemented multiple zones, such as the phone display area; new technology-demonstration section; and payment, Internet and broadband sales areas.
Four digital screens glow bright green and form a square that surrounds the bMobile logo and tagline, which reads an impish, “it feels good.”
