Two high-profile luxury department store enterprises have hired new CFOs, typically the number-two post in a company’s c-suite hierarchy, reporting to the CEO. They are:

Nordstrom Inc. (Seattle), which has named Kelly Dilts CFO, effective Aug. 29. Dilts joins Nordstrom from Dollar General, where she has served as EVP/CFO since 2023. Prior to that, Dilts held the same titles at Francesca’s Holding Corp., and before that served as SVP of Finance at Tailored Brands (formerly The Men’s Wearhouse, Inc.). As of this posting, Dollar General (Goodlettsville, Tenn.) had not disclosed its plans in light of Dilts’ exit.

Saks Global (New York), which has hired Brandy Richardson as CFO, effective Aug. 18. Richardson joins Saks from Tailored Brands Inc., where she has served as EVP/CFO since 2021. Prior to that, she spent 15 years at Neiman Marcus. At Saks, Richardson succeeds interim CFO Mark Weinsten, who joined the retailer to lead the company’s finance department through the initial changes in the aftermath of its acquisition of the NMG in late 2024.

Tailored Brands (Houston), meantime, said it has launched a search for Richardson’s successor. Until that happens, the retailer’s finance team will report to John Tighe, President and upcoming CEO.
