John Goodman to head women’s apparel company

Charlotte Russe Holding Inc. (New York) has named John Goodman as ceo. Goodman is the former president and ceo of bankrupt Mervyns LLC.

The women’s apparel retailer also appointed Emilia Fabricant president and chief merchandising officer and Frederick Silny as executive vp and cfo. Silny most recently served as senior vp and cfo of Guess Inc.
