26-store renovation in time for the holidays

Circuit City remodeled 26 stores, including locations in south Florida and one in its headquarter city, Richmond, Va. The electronics retailer said the new format was designed to bring more merchandise, shopping carts, Internet kiosks, brighter lighting and new color schemes to the company's Superstores.

Circuit City currently operates 590 Superstores and 41 Circuit City Express stores in malls nationwide.
