Clarins Group (Paris) will soon begin opening treatment rooms inside U.S. department stores, including several in Macy’s Inc.’s Bloomingdale’s chain, The Wall Street Journal reports. That move is part of a push by the beauty brand to heighten the profile of its skin care products in the U.S., where it is mainly known for its sunscreen and self-tanning lines. “We’re famous in the U.S. for only a small part of our business,” Jonathan Zrihen, Clarins’ U.S. president, told the Journal.

Clarins’ redesigned department-store counters will feature more wood accents to highlight the natural ingredients in the company’s products, and its red brand color will become “darker, richer and deeper,” Scott Ravens, a senior manager of Clarins’ visual merchandising group, told the business newspaper.
