BEAUFURN HIRES TWO NEW REP GROUPS

Furnishing manufacturer gains market reach in Texas, Pennsylvania and New Jersey

ADVANCE, N.C., Oct. 13, 2014 – Beaufurn, designer and manufacturer of hospitality, contract, and entertainment furnishings, announces the hire of two sales representative groups to enhance their market reach in Texas and the Northeast: KC Rep Source  and Furniture Solutions & Resources.

KC Rep Source, Texas' leading furniture manufacturer's representative, will be representing Beaufurn in Houston, Austin, San Antonio, The Woodlands and South Texas. Since April of 2005, KC Rep Source has grown to represent respected manufacturers like CF Stinson, IOA, Clarus Glassboards and EOC. Additional lines with unique custom capabilities and niche products include Charles Alan, TMC Furniture, EKO Contract, in2design and Brunswick Furniture. Members of the KC Rep Source team include:

• Kathy Craven, Industry IIDA, Principal

    Craven founded KC Rep Source after relocating from North Andover, Massachusetts, to The     

    Woodlands, Texas, in early 2005. From 1992-2004, she managed and sold systems and  

    seating projects for Union Office Interiors, Allied Office Interiors, Office Furnishings &

    Systems and Business Interiors in Boston. The systems lines included Allsteel, Kimball,

    Inscape and Steelcase, and were sold and installed at major corporations, higher education

    and financial institutions throughout New England. 

• Kathleen Moreland, Industry IIDA, Independent Manufacturer Representative – San Antonio, Austin, Corpus Christi and The Valley

Moreland is a graduate of Northern Arizona University with a bachelor’s in interior design. She has 20 years industry experience in corporate design and sales. Her most recent position was with a major furniture manufacturer specializing in healthcare, higher education, K-12 and government vertical markets. Moreland enjoys providing unique furniture solutions for her customers and expanding awareness of the KC Rep Source brand in South Texas.

• Allyson Hutchinson, Independent Manufacturer Representative – Houston Metro Area

Hutchinson is a graduate of Louisiana State University with a Bachelor of Arts in interior design. She has more than 25 years of practice in commercial design and understands a client’s needs for quality furnishings specified within their project budget. Her career includes work with two large Houston architecture and design firms covering many facets of industry.

• Sarajane L. Eisen, Independent Manufacturer Representative – Houston Metro Area

Sarajane L. Eisen is an assistant professor and program coordinator of interior design at Auburn University with 25 years of professional interior design experience. Eisen received   

her doctorate in architecture from Texas A&M University, with a certificate in health systems and design. She has a Master’s of human science in interior design from Lamar University, with a bachelor’s from the University of Texas at Austin.

Furniture Solutions & Resources

Furniture Solutions & Resources is an independent manufacturers’ representative group servicing Pennsylvania and New Jersey, with a focus on seating and tables, desks and accessories. • Caleb Tollen

   After graduating from Drexel University with a degree in business administration, Tollen   

   joined his grandfather in representing a commercial furniture manufacturer in New York,    

Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Maryland and Virginia. Now, he is a seasoned sales representative creating custom workspace solutions for designers, dealers and end-users.  During the past five years, Tollen has grown his agency and partnered with Scott Pitel in 2013 to create Furniture Solutions & Resources.

• Maria Kunkulis

Kunkulis joined FSR in 2014 with more than 15 years of experience in the Philadelphia area architecture and design and sales community. A graduate of The University of Delaware and The Art Institute of Philadelphia with a degree in interior design, Kunkulis spent 10 years in Philadelphia as an interior designer. She began her sales career as a dealer representative and has more than five years of experience working for multi-line representative groups. She most recently worked for a major furniture and systems manufacturer. Kunkulis’ creative approach to the sales process and her commitment to customer service have proven an invaluable asset to her work within the Philadelphia architecture and design community.

• Scott Pitel

Pitel brings more than 20 years of sales experience in the furniture and facilities industry. Since the beginning of his career, Pitel consistently led his teams in sales growth and received many awards. His excellent organizational, planning, and management skills complement his drive and determination, allowing him to be a leading independent representative. Pitel holds a Bachelor of Science in management from Embry Riddle Aeronautical University and currently lives in Sellersville, Pennsylvania.
