It's like you've been invited to dinner with Alice in Wonderland. Cornelia Park, the new shop in Palo Alto's Stanford Shopping Center, carries an extensive line of dinner- and housewares from the colorful, eclectic collection of Victoria and Richard MacKenzie-Childs. In the store, the merchandise is display enough: a dining table with black-and-white-checkered tile insets is set with a whimsical collection of plates and dinnerware. Furniture, lamps, pillows, table linens and other accessories fill the homelike space.

Clients: Anne Cornelia Park and David Park

Design: Brand Allen Architects, San Francisco

Suppliers and Fabricators: Interior Woodwork Inc., Denver (fixturing); MacKenzie-Childs, Aurora, N.Y. (furniture); Lightolier Inc., Secaucus, N.J. (lighting); Azrock Industries Inc., San Antonio (ceiling); Schumacher, New York City (wallcoverings and fabric)
