Craveworthy Brands (Chicago) has unveiled details about its new Craveworthy Kitchen in Hayden Hall, on the second floor of 333 South Wabash Ave. in the South Loop. The 25,000-square-foot space features food court-style bays for several locally born fast-casual concepts, including Lucky Cat Poke Co., The Budlong Southern Chicken and Scramblin’ Ed’s.
The building housing the complex is named for Sophia Hayden, who is known for designing the Woman’s Building at the 1893 World’s Columbian Exposition, famously known and inspired by the Chicago World’s Fair. It’s in what’s locally known as the “Big Red” skyscraper.

In addition to the tenants mentioned earlier, the food court will be home to Krafted Smashburgers and Pastizza Pizza & Pasta, with two more concepts and a full-service restaurant set to be named soon. Once Craveworthy Kitchen is complete, the company will hold a grand opening celebration in late summer or early fall.
As Craveworthy Brands continues to expand its presence nationally, it projects $1 billion in systemwide sales within five years and plans to acquire additional brands, open nearly 17 corporate locations and launch more than 60 virtual restaurants throughout 2024.
