Curacao to Debut in Chula Vista

Hispanic retailer ‘s latest locale opens April 20

Curacao (Los Angeles), which describes itself as the largest Hispanic-serving retailer on the West Coast, has unveiled plans for its newest store, in Chula Vista, Calif. Slated to open April 20, the 100,000-square-feet-plus store joins 15 other Curacao stores in California, Arizona, Nevada.

“Curacao is more than just a retailer; we are a community partner committed to enhancing the lives of our customers and the communities we serve,” said James Lubary, the brand’s EVP of Retail. “The grand opening of our Chula Vista store is a celebration of this commitment.”

The chain’s offerings include baby and toddler goods, electronics, appliances, furniture and other home goods, and fashion.

The company, which was founded in 1978, says the Chula Vista store represents “a significant step forward in the company’s ongoing mission to provide customers with an affordable shopping experience by delivering the latest, top-tier products accompanied by price-beat guarantees and unbeatable customer service.”
