AtlantaDigital Signage Expo (DSE), the world’s largest international trade show and educational conference dedicated to digital displays, interactive technology and digital communications networks, announced today that its four-part Digital Signage Fundamentals Seminar Program at DSE 2016 designed specifically for End Users, AV Professionals, Systems Integrators or anyone considering creating a digital communications network, will include an hour-long session titled, “Fundamentals of Digital Signage Content.”

Steve Hargis, Director of Film and Video Production for Bass Pro Shops, will present an immersive session designed to help guide attendees through the creation of a content strategy, including the importance of planning and budgeting for content, the basic questions that need answers before system deployment, and how to source content to keep it fresh and relevant when the system is operational. Hargis will also discuss basics of content rules and design, and share plenty of good and bad content examples.

DSE Advisory Board members recently had the opportunity to comment on this timely topic and offered a variety of interesting insights, including the following:

“Resource and budget constraints can significantly impact content strategy, which is why it is important to have an efficient, user-friendly and flexible content management system to support your strategy.” Michael Collins, IT Project Lead, Aramark

“There are several ways to handle content creation, but it does take some upfront work to determine the best source or sources for each particular solution.”

Len Dudis, Corporate Vice President of IT, Seaworld Parks & Entertainment
