Dollar Tree Inc. (Chesapeake, Va.) has named Bobby Aflatooni as its Chief Information Officer, according to a press release. Most recently serving as Executive VP, Chief Information Officer, for The Howard Hughes Corp. He’s also held development and oversight of IT properties for a range of brands like LayerOne, CapitalOne Auto Finance, Yum! Brands, Silverleaf Resorts and CapitalOne Services.

In recent months, Dollar Tree has made numerous changes to its C-suite. The company reported a 6.5 percent increase in consolidated net sales for the first quarter of 2022 compared to last year.

Aflatooni says, “I am thrilled to be joining the Dollar Tree organization. Our team will be driven to focus on systems infrastructure enhancements to support the Company’s growth by providing better support to store associates, merchandising and marketing teams, and our supply chain to deliver improved shopper experience. Having worked with, and supported, a number of leaders at Dollar Tree in previous roles will enable us to hit the ground running.”
