Donna Karan International Inc., New York, publicized plans to open a freestanding DKNY store in the SoHo section of Manhattan. The location, at 420 West Broadway, will be the second in New York City and will occupy about 8000 square feet.

Scheduled to open in spring 2001, the new store will offer DKNY men's and women's fashion and lifestyle products. The downtown store is expected to reflect and complement the Madison Avenue flagship design.
