Dooney & Bourke

Dallas, TX

on

Located at the upscale NorthPark Center in Dallas, the prototype Dooney & Bourke store features a signature collection of women's handbags and accessories. The store façade features tall, glass-paneled doors fitted with sleek, slightly curved brass hardware. Display niches on either side of a small vestibule reveal selections from the retailer's handbag line, allowing passersby to preview the merchandise.

Sycamore-stained modular display cabinetry flanks the rectangular space. Items are displayed gallery-style, set within illuminated cubicles. The display system also provides slender glass ledges designed for shoes and luggage, paneled walls that allow for flexible placement of shelves, and brackets to hang additional items. At the store's center, Parsons tables display handbags, leather goods and other accessories.

Underfoot, a red end-grain, block-wood floor creates a warm, elegant feel in the store. And above, an arced white ceiling and custom lighting fixtures keep the store well illuminated.
