Designer toy brand Dream Mart (Suzhou, China) has opened its first U.S. store, in Brea, Calif. That debut closely follows the unveiling of the brand’s first concept store, near Beijing’s Birds Nest National Stadium.

The store reimagines the traditional retail experience by fusing artistic expression and advanced technology assistance, the company said in a news release. “From interactive installations to AI-assisted design, visitors are invited into a world where creativity and innovation meet… it offers a glimpse into the future of collectibles culture,” the statement said.

“This isn’t just about collecting,” said Qevin Leung, Head of Global Business Development. “It’s about introducing new ideas to how people engage with art toys—through collaborative experiences, storytelling and community.”

As for the future, Inside Retail Asia reports that the brand’s expansion plans include more locations in China, as well as in Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, Vietnam, Canada and Italy.

“Our global expansion is guided by cultural sensitivity and local collaboration,” said Leung. “While our core mission remains consistent, we tailor each store to resonate with regional audiences by curating locally relevant content and artists.”
