Dunkin' Donuts (Canton, Mass.) has entered into an agreement with local entrepreneurs Sadi Sanlav and Mo Rahimi to expand the brand's presence in Germany. The two business partners plan to develop at least 15 new Dunkin' Donuts restaurants in the Frankfurt, Rhine-Main area of Germany over the next five years.

“We are very excited to announce the expansion of the Dunkin' Donuts brand in Germany, where we have developed an engaged and enthusiastic following for our high-quality beverages and baked goods,” says Giorgio Minardi, President, Dunkin' Brands International.

Dunkin' Donuts operates more than 30 locations across Germany, concentrated in the Berlin and Nordrhein-Westfalen metropolitan areas. With the new franchisee agreement, the total number of Dunkin' Donuts restaurants in Germany will grow to nearly 50 locations.

Founded in 1950, the fast-food chain operates more than 10,000 restaurants in 32 countries.
