Dunkin’ Plans Hundreds of New Stores

Nigel Travis, ceo of Dunkin Donuts’ parent company, Dunkin’ Brands Group Inc. (Canton, Mass.) announced plans to open 550-650 new restaurants around the world this year. The Wall Street Journal reports that those openings will include 350-450 Dunkin’ Donuts stores outside the U.S., with a focus on the Asia-Pacific region. The company also plans to open 80-100 Dunkin’ Donuts venues in India over the next five years.
