Earth Fare Expands

Plans to add six stores under new ceo

Earth Fare (Asheville, N.C.) announced Frank Scorpiniti as its new president and ceo Monday in the midst of a period of rapid growth for the 40-year-old natural and organic food retailer, according to the Asheville Citizen-Times.

The natural foods grocery store chain currently operates 33 stores across the Southeast, mid-Atlantic and Midwest, and plans to add more than half-a-dozen additional stores this year.

The expansion will begin in the Atlanta metro area this month.
