Eastbay Team Sales Acquired by BSN Sports

BSN Sports (Dallas) has announced its plans to acquire all assets of Eastbay Team Sales from Foot Locker Retail, a subsidiary of Foot Locker, according to a company press release.

Foot Locker acquired Eastbay Team Sales to form a new channel of distribution in 1997. The Eastbay brand was originally founded in 1980.

BSN Sports is a division of Varsity Brands and is a large distributor/manufacturer of sporting goods and equipment. It primarily distributes products to colleges, universities, middle and high schools, recreational programs and institutional team sports.
